Leadership Development
With proven consultative, collaborative skills, I work to clarify ideas and methods, to gain engagement and value. I serve to grow leadership knowledge, skills and competencies, with emphases on building self-awareness, identity, communications, and ongoing leadership skills development.
I live to advance the development of leadership knowledge and skills, building and delivering solutions in individual and organizational efficacy and achievement:
• Consulting with individuals and organizations to enhance leadership development; areas of attention are motivation and engagement, behavior and the situational competencies required for productive fulfillment, and organizational culture as support for effective leadership.
• Creating and facilitating workshops on self-leadership, leadership development, and organizational leadership, with an emphasis on effective practical action.
• Teaching the graduate level courses "Leadership Theory and Practice", "Developing Leadership Skills", "Leading Change", and the corporate training courses/workshops "Interpersonal Skills for Professionals" and "'Direct Thyself': Self-Management for Self-Leadership" at McGill University.

“One cannot teach a man anything.
One can only enable him to learn from within himself.”
~ Galileo Galilei
“Control is not leadership; management is not leadership; leadership is leadership.
If you seek to lead, invest at least 50% of your time in leading yourself,
your own purpose, ethics, principles, motivation, conduct.
Invest at least 20% leading those with authority over you
and 15% leading your peers.”
~ Dee Hock (Founder and CEO Emeritus, Visa)
